Key Requirements for PCBA Shipping and Packaging
Transporting PCBA products must meet requirements for anti-static protection, moisture resistance, shock resistance, and standardized packaging materials to ensure the circuit board's functionality and reliability are not compromised during logistics.

Packaging Material Selection
Multi‑layer wrapping of PCBA with materials such as bubble wrap, EPE foam, anti‑static bags, or vacuum bags shall be adopted to provide physical cushioning and environmental isolation. Composite packaging materials with high pressure resistance shall be prioritized to prevent solder joint fractures or component detachment due to compression during transit.
ESD Protection
Anti‑static packaging materials (e.g., pink anti‑static bags, conductive foam) shall be used throughout the process to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage to sensitive chips. All operators shall wear grounded wrist straps, and ambient humidity in the packaging area shall be maintained at 40%–60% RH to minimize static accumulation.
Moisture Protection
Prior to packaging, PCBAs shall be cleaned and dried to remove flux residues and moisture, followed by the application of a conformal coating (e.g., acrylic, polyurethane‑based) to form a protective film. For transportation in high‑humidity environments, desiccants shall be placed inside, and vacuum‑sealed packaging is recommended.
Vibration Protection and Securing Methods
Wrapped PCBAs shall be placed vertically in anti‑static containers or dedicated logistics boxes, with non‑slip separators inserted between each layer. Stacking shall not exceed two layers to prevent sliding and impact. During transportation, severe jolting shall be avoided, and the use of professional electronic logistics services equipped with cushioning systems is recommended.
Labeling and Traceability Management
Outer packaging shall be clearly marked with warning labels such as "Handle with Care" and "Moisture & ESD Sensitive," and shall bear a unique serial number or QR code to facilitate inspection and traceability upon receipt by the customer.
